IDREO Deep Explorer
This training program is designed to provide primary divers the experience of diving in deeper environments while establishing a solid foundation for cave and rebreather diving.
Intensive skill mastery and actual experience building are the core principles of this program. This is achieved through the provision of comprehensive information, the use of the most up-to-date procedures, and the application of sound techniques to explore the depths safely.
The IDREO 'Deep Explorer' certification is performance-oriented and is divided into 2 levels: 'Deep Explorer Level 1' and 'Deep Explorer Level 2'. This allows each student to learn theoretical knowledge and practical skills at their own pace.
During the course, various topics are covered, including:
- Equipment configurations;
- Trim and buoyancy management;
- Propulsion techniques;
- Deco systems and the use of it;
- NDSL vs NDL;
- Decompression techniques;
- MOD vs MinOD;
- Mixed gases (Nitrox and trimix with O2 decompression);
- Stages vs deco cylinders;
- Gas management and planning;
- Bailout planning;
- Installing, deploying and storing your equipment underwater;< /li>
